Pirates of the Carribean: On Stranger Tides
So first off I have to get this out… What the crap is with this title, the trilogy had sea monsters, skeletal pirates and a whole bundle of fantasy pirate myth, so whats so strange about adding black beard and a couple of mermaids?! [oh and spoilers from here on]
Anyway I liked it, the dead weight of Bloom and Knightly, yeah I said it. and now Jack Sparrow has free reign to own the screen...
Attack the Block
If you didn’t already know, AtB is the debut directorial effort from Mr. Joe Cornish, of Adam & Joe fame (and if you don’t know who Adam & Joe are, find out immediately. Additionally they were quite popular for playing for with toys on telly before Robot Chicken came out.)
As debuts go, they don’t really really surpass this. Everything was spot on, the cast were...
